Workshops & Tours

Our workshops are led by well-known photographers who have many years of experience as instructors. Emphasis is placed on learning. Most workshops consist of hands-on outdoor photography sessions, as well as classroom time spent on presentations, discussions and group-critique of participants' work.

Our tours are led by photographers who are experts in specific geographic and subject areas. Emphasis is placed on shooting. Our leaders get you to the great locations so that you have the opportunity to capture those spectacular images. Leaders gladly answer your questions as they arise and at times may demonstrate helpful techniques. Tours generally have no indoor instruction or critique time.

Retreats are our flagship and the most intensive of all our offerings. Emphasis is placed on creating. Designed for experienced shooters, the retreat format foregoes formal indoor instructional sessions, allowing participants the time to concentrate primarily on image-making.
